In compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, the company TECHLAB SERVICE AMERICA S. DE R.L. DE C.V. makes available to the general public its privacy, confidentiality, and personal data handling policies through the following notice:

TECHLAB SERVICE AMERICA S. DE R.L. DE C.V. (hereinafter “Techlab Service”) is a Mexican company whose corporate purpose and main business activity is the sale of equipment and parts, and the maintenance and calibration thereof.

Techlab Service designates as its address for any matter related to this notice the following: Av. Valle del Segre 120, Col. Valle de Aragón – 3rd Section, Zip Code 55280, Ecatepec, State of Mexico; phone 55 2346 2037, and email servicio@techlabservice.com.mx.

In accordance with Articles 16 and 17 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, we request the following personal data from you: name, address, federal taxpayer registry number, phone number, and email address.

The purpose of collecting, using, storing, and processing your personal data is as follows:

a) To send you information and/or quotes that you may require regarding our services and products.
b) To provide sales and maintenance services for the products we sell and represent in Mexico and Latin America.
c) To issue your tax receipts in accordance with applicable tax laws.

We also inform you that your data may be transferred to third parties who assist us solely for the purpose of providing you with the service you request. Under no circumstances may these third parties use the information provided by Techlab Service for purposes other than those established in this privacy notice.

As the data subject, you have the right, in accordance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, to access, rectify, or cancel your personal data, as well as to object to its processing or revoke any consent previously granted for that purpose, by submitting a signed written request to our address indicated in this privacy notice.

You must also attach to the request documents proving your identity or, where applicable, the legal representation of the data subject, as well as any documentation supporting your request. These must be submitted through any of the means mentioned above.

Techlab Service may deny access to personal data, or the rectification, cancellation, or granting of an objection to its processing, in the following cases:

  • When the requester is not the data subject, or the legal representative is not duly accredited to act on their behalf;
  • When the requester’s personal data is not found in our database;
  • When the rights of a third party would be harmed;
  • When there is a legal impediment, or a ruling by a competent authority restricting access to the personal data or preventing its rectification, cancellation, or objection;
  • When the rectification, cancellation, or objection has already been previously carried out.

Techlab Service will limit the use of personal data and sensitive personal data at the express request of the data subject, and will not be obligated to cancel personal data when:

  • It pertains to the parties of a private, social, or administrative contract, and is necessary for its development and fulfillment;
  • It must be processed by legal requirement;
  • Cancellation would obstruct judicial or administrative proceedings related to tax obligations, the investigation and prosecution of crimes, or the enforcement of penalties;
  • It is necessary to protect the legally protected interests of the data subject;
  • It is necessary to carry out an action in the public interest;
  • It is necessary to comply with a legal obligation acquired by the data subject.

If, after reading this privacy notice, you do not express your objection to Techlab Service processing your personal data for the purposes described above, it will be understood that you have granted your consent for such processing.
